How do I book my dog into daycare?
If you are new to the program, email us or text us your email address and we will forward you the Application forms. Let us know your preferred days for care and whether you are looking for a permanent or casual placement.
Can I bring my puppy to daycare?
Yes, puppies can start daycare from 12 weeks of age. All puppies must have started their immunisation program.
Does my dog need to be immunised?
Yes, all dogs must have had their C5 vaccination (includes kennel cough vaccine) or equivalent.
Does my dog need to be desexed?
All male dogs over the age of 5months need to be desexed. They can return to daycare 2weeks after being desexed. Females do not need to be desexed but must not attend during their season.
Can my dog have training when they are in daycare?
Yes, we can organise a training session during the day with a Domestic Dog Training trainer. Additional charges apply.
How do I know if my dog will be okay in daycare?
If you are unsure how your dog will manage in daycare we can provide an introduction session with one of our trainers. This one hour session allows us to see how your dog interacts and we will be able to provide feedback to you on whether your dog will enjoy a daycare environment.
Will my dog be crated?
No, absolutely not! We do not use crates. Many dogs have never been crate trained and placing them in a crate can induce anxiety and is highly stressful.
We provide large 2.4m x 1.8m enclosures where your dog can choose to go if they would like to rest away from the group.
Will my dog get to spend time outdoors?
Yes, rain or shine! We back on to expansive parklands and each dog is taken outside every 90minutes for fresh air and to go toilet. There is NO additional charge for this service as we encourage all dogs to maintain a normal routine of outside toileting.
Do you give the dogs treats?
No. Food based group activities can incite competition, resource guarding and potentially fights. Many dogs have allergies and too many treats can have side effects such as diarrhea.
Do you use slip leads?
No, we do not use slip leads in our daycare program.
Do you use pee pads?
No, definitely not. Our program includes a structured toileting regime where dogs are taken outside to safe parkland areas every 90mins to sniff and go toilet.
Is there off-street parking?
Yes, we have 10 private off-street parking bays for our clients. Away from busy traffic it is a safe place for you to drop off and pick up your dog.
